Identity Work Practitioner Training

Join us this fall for a 16-week live online training designed for coaches, therapists, helping professionals, and anyone who wants to deeply understand Identity and learn how to facilitate transformational change. Whether you are new to coaching or an experienced helping professional, this training is designed to strengthen your ability to recognize the deeper structures shaping human experience and support meaningful change in others.

This training combines philosophical understanding with practical coaching skills grounded in Identity Work. Through live teaching, demonstrations, small-group practice, written modules, exercises, and recorded coaching sessions, you'll learn how Identity shapes experience, organizes patterns, and influences the realities we create. You'll also learn how to help others uncover the structures beneath their repeating patterns and facilitate meaningful transformation.

Instructors: Anya Lincoln, author of I Am, and creator of Identity Work, Will McGreal, Identity Work Practitioner, Master Coach, and teacher.

Because this is a highly interactive practitioner training that includes partner exercises, practice coaching, supervision, and group work, a minimum enrollment is required to create the learning environment the training is designed for.

Minimum enrollment must be reached by August 1, 2026. If minimum enrollment is not reached by that date, all tuition payments will be refunded in full.

Program Schedule

Opening Intensive

Saturday, August 29, 2026
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM CST

This opening intensive will introduce the foundations of Identity Work, establish a common language for the cohort, and begin building the community that will support one another throughout the training.

No meetings during Labor Day Weekend.

Weekly Wednesday Masterclasses

5:30 PM – 7:30 PM CST

These calls focus on the philosophical and transformational foundations of Identity Work, including:

• Identity and Consciousness
• Patterns and Repetition
• Coaching mastery techniques
• Inquiry Methods (Several Modules)
• Power Arcs
• Practitioner Ethics
• Intuition
• Business of Coaching: proposals, money, fees, agreements
• And more

Weekly Sunday Practice Labs

5:30 PM – 7:00 PM CST

These practice-focused sessions include coaching demonstrations, inquiry exercises, breakout groups, feedback, and supervised skill development.

There will be no Sunday Practitioner Lab on intensive weekends.

Certification Pathway

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive an Identity Work Certificate of Completion.

Graduates who wish to pursue full Identity Work Coach Certification may continue on the certification pathway by completing at least 100 coaching hours with a minimum of 10 different clients, submitting two recorded coaching sessions for review, and demonstrating a strong understanding of Identity Work principles and the ability to apply them effectively in real coaching conversations. Upon meeting these requirements, participants will be eligible to receive the Identity Work Certification Diploma.

Prerequisite

All participants are required to read I Am prior to the start of the training. The training builds directly upon the principles presented in the book, allowing us to spend our time together applying and deepening the work rather than introducing it from the beginning.
